  • Positivity

Rules of the Road

Please Do

  • Be kind: Engage in the community in positive ways and always be respectful of other people’s experiences and feelings
  • Be engaged: The community is as helpful and fun as we make it – ask questions, offer your knowledge, share resources, encourage one another!
  • Encourage each other: Ask questions, answer questions, celebrate successes, show support during more challenging times. We’re on this journey together!

Please Do Not

  • Make direct requests for money: WMM Connect is a place to ask for support and promote your small business, but not a place to solicit donations. If you are in financial need, please contact the WMM team at [email protected] and we will do our best to connect you with assistance.
  • Use derogatory, insulting or offensive language: Offensive language (spoken or written) will negatively impact the safety and comfort of our community members
  • Judge: WMM is a judgment-free community. Come as you are and respect the decisions made by others
  • Share personal information: The WMM community is a safe and confidential space, but communities (whether on WMM Connect or in program groups) are not a place to share personal information about you or your family.
  • Examples of information NOT to share: Social security number, bank information, credit card number, address, date of birth, phone number, health information, etc.

Women’s Money Matters has a zero tolerance policy for the following activities:

Outcomes and Processes

Women’s Money Matters maintains the right to enforce the WMM Community Guidelines as necessary. The safety and comfort of our community members is our number one priority.

In the event of someone violating these guidelines, we will take action to protect other members of the group. Violations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and appropriate action will be taken as deemed appropriate – sometimes this may mean giving just means giving someone a warning; other times it means revoking participation or account privileges entirely.

If you experience or witness any behavior that doesn’t follow our community guidelines, please contact us directly at [email protected]. All reports are kept confidential.
